Important – New Photo Rules

Beginning Monday, December 15th, 2008, the following new rules are in effect for photos:

1. Photos must be added to a listing within five (5) days of entry into MLXchange.
2. At least one photo must be of the front exterior of the property.
3. Rental listings are now required to have a photo and follow all the photo rules.

Regional MLS, Inc.’s Compliance Department is dedicated to maintaining and improving the accuracy of the data you access every day. We encourage you to forward any reports of possible violations or questions regarding errors to our department. You should, however, be able to answer a majority of your Compliance questions on this page.

We have recently noticed a large spike in the amount of listings in violation of the following rule: Commission and/or Bonus information is prohibited in all fields with the following exceptions. This information may be placed in the Broker Remarks Section as well as fields designated for commission agreements or bonus information. The most commonly used fields to violate this rule are the Street Address, Subdivision and Public Remarks. Please ensure that your listings do not include this type of information in any inappropriate fields.
